My progress report

There have been lots of things going on and I am progressing well. Following is my progress report:

a) Weight is more than 4.5 KG. Mama and Papa are very happy.
b) Height is almost 2 feet.
c) Had my third vaccination earlier this month. Next one is in April.
d) Have tasted lots of different stuff for the first time - list includes joshina, crocin drops, colic aid, mucus something etc.
e) I have learnt hand-eye co-ordination. Now I see the ball and try to touch it with my hands.
f) Papa and mama believe I have become naughty. If I do not find anyone in the room, then I call them using my crying therapy.
g) I still get scared when I am sleeping and noise is made.
h) I play more than I used to earlier.

I am on twitter

I have found a new home at twitter also. You can follow me @vanditmadan. I would be highly obliged. The negative part of being on twitter is that now I spend less time on blogger. Tweeting seems to be easier than blogging, though both of them have their own usages.

How papa and mama work?

Papa and Mama differ on lots of things (I think like most Mamas and Papas in this world). I see them discussing so many things (I think like most Mamas and Papas in this world), most of the things they agree upon and some are interesting because they do not agree (not sure if this is also like most Mamas and Papas in this world). So what do they do? From what I have observed, in the end, they listen to each other. Like when I was not well, Mama said that we should think about medication because it was already 7 days. Even though Papa has something against medication, he agreed after discussing it a lot with Mama. Similarly, when I was small, Mama was thinking if she should get my Janam Patri made. She discussed it with Papa. However Papa has something against Janam Patri also. This time my Mama understood why Papa does not want Janam Patri and so she agreed.

The last movie which papa and mama saw before I was born

Do you know which was the last movie which papa and mama saw before I was born? It was 3 Idiots. It went on to become a huge hit, the biggest in Indian Bollywood history. They saw it on 26th December and I was born on the 28th December.
26th December is the Happy Birthday of my Bua. Bua, I love you :)

Hurray My Mom has now a Registration Number

Yuppie, my mom has got a registration number. Nahi nahi, she is not a car to get a registration number. Mama is doing her PhD from Patiala University. Today she got a Registration Number from the University. This means she is formally enrolled now. She had to go without me to Patiala and had her attention diverted, but mama do not worry, I am growing up and know that you had to go. I was enjoying with Dadi while you were not there. Ab main aapko tang karunga :) After all you are my mama and I am a mamas boy.

Happy Holi

Its my first holi. Holi, everyone says, is a festival of colours. I am too small to understand what colours are, but everyone was wishing me Happy Holi today. Out of the four festivals since my birth, papa has only been with me for one festival.

Today when Papa called us in Meerut, everyone was asking me to say Happy Holi to papa. However, I did not reply :)

It is a first holi for Subhanshi didi and Mukti Mausi and Amit Mausu also (arrrr woh dono bahut bade hai, unki pehli kyunki unki abhi marriage hui hai... marriage ke baad pehli holi hai, samjhe budhu)

Papa has gone nuts

Papa, it seems, has gone nuts. He is going to come to Delhi to bring mama and me to Bangalore. He booked his ticked from Bangalore to Delhi for 5th March and booked the return ticket for the three of us on 7th March. The return ticket he booked is from Bangalore to Delhi while we have to go from Delhi to Bangalore.

He has now cancelled the ticket from Bangalore to Delhi for 7th March and booked ticket from Delhi to Bangalore now.
