My first Anti-Biotic

I have been having a bad throat for the last one week. I went to the doctor along with mama. Doctor uncle said I had little congestion in my chest and he suggested an anti-biotic to remove the infection from my body. Mama had a discussion with Papa. Papa is against any medicine. He does not like to take medicine unless absolutely necessary. Mama thinks precaution is better than cure but in my case she was also not keen to give me. They both had a discussion and then finally decided that they should give me a small dose of medicine as it is almost a week since I had a bad throat. Today was therefore the first day when I had an anti-biotic in my life.

Cough and bad throat

Weather is very bad these days in and around Delhi. Sometimes it is hot and sometimes it is cold. I also have cough now and a bad throat. Everyone is taking good care of me. This is the first time I am experiencing cough and a bad throat.

Mama is giving me steam two times a day so that I get well soon. She is very worried as I am a small boy. Papa and Mama pray to God that I get well soon.

I have started to smile

I have started to smile. I used to smile earlier also but I used to smile only when I was sleeping. They say that small children remember things from their past life and smile / cry. For the past few days, my mama says that I have started to smile when she, nana, nani or mamu plays with me.

My vaccination

I had a vaccination on 9th Feb. It was my second vaccination after the first one given at my birth. The nurse gave me two vaccinations with needle and one polio drop vaccination. The needle was very long and I am a small boy. But my mama and papa say that I handled it very well. I only cried while she was giving me the vaccination. Mama-Papa have a very small heart when it comes to me. They were talking to each other and saying that I was able to handle it better than them.
When I went home after vaccination, there was pain on my legs. I was not able to sleep straight. Papa then laid me on his chest and I slept with him.

My first visit

I have been doing lots of firsts in my life. The first time I went to someones home (other than dada-dadi and nana-nani) was my Buas. I went to meet my Bua Ji, Phupha Ji and Subhanshi didi. Abhi to I can't play with didi because we both are very small. When we grow up, we will play together. Didi was looking at me and wondering where the small bhaiya came from.

Maasi ki shaadi

My maasi got married on 9th Feb. It was my first function. Everyone was dancing and I also danced in my papas arms. Maasi was looking very good with Maasu. Mama and Papa ate lot of different things. I cant taste them now because I am very small but when I grow up to be a big boy, I will eat all those things.
Papa also got leave for 4 more days and so he was able to spend some more time with me. He says that he misses me and Mama very much and is very sad that he took up a job where he needs to travel and move outside Delhi.

I am growing up

I am growing up with every passing day. When papa and mama went on their regular visit (10th Feb) to the doctor uncle with me, they took my weight. I have now become 3.25 Kg. Doctor uncle was happy with my progress and so are mama and papa.
